The Southern Appalachian Ronald McDonald House
Keeping Families Close
Welcome To Our Home
The Southern Appalachian Ronald McDonald House has supported more than 15,000 families since 1996.
When families travel to Johnson City seeking treatment programs for cancer and other pediatric illnesses, they will find a home away from home and a strong circle of support at Southern Appalachian Ronald McDonald House. Thanks to our incredible donor base, we offer an array of services and programs tailored to meet the needs of every family member.
At RMHSA, we make sure that a kid gets to be a kid first, and a patient second.
Families come from over 40 counties located throughout Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, Western North Carolina, and Eastern Kentucky, covering a 125-mile radius outside the city limits of Johnson City. Our house is nestled in a scenic wooded area across from Niswonger Children’s Hospital, making it convenient for parents to be near their child when emergencies happen.
